Artistic commissions
Before supplying a work of art, A & A prefers to receive
a firm order – a commission. A well-integrated work
of art does, after all, give a room true added value.
Indoors or outdoors – it matters not. Whether it
be a sculpture, a mural or a conceptual creation.
Of paramount importance is a well-drafted terms of reference.
In consultation with the client, we strive to elaborate
a crystal-clear plan, in which the budget, the expectations
and the allotted time frame for the project are clearly
stated.
Taking that as a starting-point, A & A puts an
outline proposal together. Within these selection criteria,
we then choose a handful of artists whose names are
put forward. If possible, a few of them are asked to
submit a preliminary design. Once the final choice has
been made, a binding contract is drawn up between the
parties and A & A sees to the follow-up and supervision
of the entire process, right up to the formal handover
of the installed work of art.
